Matt is professional singer and guitarist with over 20 years of experience as a live performer and session musician. As well as performing in the UK, Matt has performed around Europe on the Greek Cyclades islands, exclusive ski resorts in Austria, luxury weddings in Italy and further afield in Indonesia, Thailand and America. As an accomplished guitarist, he can use intimate finger style guitar playing along with soulful vocals to render heartfelt and emotional love songs, or for a different mood, combine guitar rhythms, lead guitar and beatboxing with vocal and guitar loops to create reimagined cover versions of your favourite songs that are full of energy and captivating to a live audience.

I typically aim to arrive about an hour before the performance to set up, but can arrive earlier if necessary to have a room ready for guests. My preference is to divide my performance into 45/60 minute sets with breaks in between, but I don't mind playing for up to 2 hrs without a break for a relaxed drinks reception or wedding breakfast.

Getting the music right for your event might be one of the most important things! I can learn up to three songs specially for your event and I like to pick the rest of the material by discussing with you the kind of atmosphere we’re aiming to create, along with any favourite artists or songs.

I’m able to provide a system that can cater for small venues to medium sized halls that includes a 2000w subwoofer.
The system has bluetooth connectivity if the client wants to provide their own background music whilst I’m not playing and I can also be fully battery-powered for small outdoor events such as wedding ceremonies. -
For the wedding ceremony I would often play around 15-30 minutes of light background music as the guests enter and take their seats. Then I can play music for the bridal party's entrance, a few songs during the signing of the register and then finally a song as the bride and groom exit.
This can all be customised to the client’s tastes and I'm more than happy to learn songs specially for the ceremony.
