MATT BAXTER’S FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • I play much more than just weddings and am available for all kinds of events and parties. In the past I have played birthday parties, funerals, business events, christening/naming days, anniversaries and more…

  • Every wedding is different and I’m happy to chat about how I would best fit into yours. I think it’s important to think about the experience you want for you and your guests - do you want to create a certain atmosphere with background music? Do you want people to have the opportunity to dance?

I have played at pre-wedding events, during the ceremony, during the drinks reception after the ceremony, for the wedding breakfast, as evening guests arrive, to warm up the dance floor for the DJ, as the main evening entertainment, and any combination of these.

  • I’m available for events across the UK and worldwide.

Keep in mind that I’m based in Leeds in the UK and overseas bookings will involve renting a sound system as I can’t bring my own.

Events that involve driving 3hrs or more may incur extra fees for accommodation along with the usual travel expenses.

  • Yes.

  • I have a list of the songs in my repertoire that’s available on request.

It includes music from every decade from the 50s onwards, including pop, rock, soul, RnB, reggae, folk, blues, Irish, and my own interpretations of electronic dance music, disco, alternative rock, and more….
